New Papers Published by Dr. Heather Palis !

By Abigail Yuen on November 25, 2022

Congratulations to Dr. Heather Palis, whose 2 papers on stimulant and opioid use among individuals in corrections centres have now been published. As the rates of stimulant- and opioid-related overdoses increase, especially for people with a history of incarceration, Dr. Palis’ works contributes to the rising need to provide support for this population. The BCCDC has published a news press on the publication of one Dr. Palis’s articles as well (available here).  Join us on Twitter for more discussion!
