Congratulations to Dr. Heather Palis (supervised by Dr. Tonia Nicholls and Dr. Amanda Slaunwhite) for receiving a 2020/2021 Marshall Fellowship from UBC’s Institute of Mental Health in the Department of Psychiatry. Heather’s research will use administrative health and corrections data to identify trends of overdose and recidivism among people with criminal justice system involvement and psychiatric disorders in British Columbia. Well done!
